Jared began his career with PCC Airfoils in 1998 and brings 28 years of hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing. His expertise spans vacuum furnace operations, dip line processes, and foundry work (DS/SC and Equiax). In addition, Jared is highly knowledgeable in production management, safety practices, and lockout/tagout procedures, making him a trusted leader in both operations and workforce training.
Duane Needs
Duane joined PCC Airfoils in 1997 and has over 29 years of experience in advanced manufacturing. For 11 of those years, he served as a Master Metal Supervisor, where he led teams and oversaw complex metallurgy processes. His background includes deep expertise in vacuum furnace operations, metallurgy, dip line, clean and cap, cut off, and foundry (DS/SC and Equiax). Duane’s leadership in Master Metal provided him with a unique ability to train, mentor, and improve production teams across multiple disciplines.
Together
As co-founders of Precision Consultants, Jared and Duane combine nearly six decades of aerospace and metallurgy knowledge. They are also co-authors of a comprehensive 13-chapter Vacuum Basics Training program, created to help new hires and developing employees build a strong foundation in vacuum operations. Beyond training, they partner with manufacturers to solve operational challenges, improve efficiency, and strengthen team performance across all areas of production.
